    本領域メンバーの多くが参画しているはやぶさ2プロジェクトチームが2020年12月17日に内閣総理大臣顕彰を受賞しました。はやぶさ2は2014年12月に打ち上げられ、小惑星「リュウグウ」への2度の着陸など数々の世界初の技術を実現させました。2021年12月6日にリュウグウで採取したサンプルの入ったカプセルが地球に帰還しました。現在、サンプルの分析が国内外にて精力的に進められており、本領域メンバーも分析に貢献しております。

  • 奥地拓生(京都大学複合原子力科学研究所 教授、A01班公募研究)―第22回日本鉱物科学会賞受賞

    奥地拓生氏が2020年9月に、第22回日本鉱物科学会賞を受賞しました。本賞は、鉱物科学およびその関連分野で顕著な研究業績をあげた研究者に対して贈呈されます。奥地氏は、これまでの常識を覆すような発想で新たな実験技術を開発し、水素を含む地球惑星内部物質の構造と拡散に関する研究において世界最先端の研究をリードし、国際的に高く評価される成果を挙げてきました。これらの研究成果により本賞の受賞に至りました。
